Hi everyone I am in bits recently going though a miscarriage. Due for my dating scan next week,
but miscarried 2 days ago.

need some advice, I was in a DV relationship, police called, bailed etc, agencies got involved for support.
DASH risk assessments carried out etc .
they did say that maybe SS would want to chat. That’s no problem as I’m no longer in the relationship, but now I’ve sadly miscarried my question is will they still be involved / want to talk to me or anything?
to be honest I don’t see why they would, I just want to take this time to just grieve my loss.
thank you

Hello. I'm so sorry that you've lost your baby.

If you're no longer pregnant, and you're no longer with your violent boyfriend, I don't think that SS will need to see you.

Thanks, someone’s said to me even tho I’ve miscarried I will probably have to prove to the SS that it’s happened as they can access my medical records ? I think that’s over the top , and don’t really need anymore stress on top of this heartache.

They will just want to make sure you are OK. That's what I think.
