I had an emergency MVA one week ago today due to retained tissue after my TFMR. My bleeding had started to reduce a few days after the surgery but the last couple of days it’s been heavier (bright red blood and passed some large clots)
I went back to hospital to check that there was nothing left over and they’ve confirmed my cervix is closed, my lining is thin and ultrasound shows that there is no more remaining tissue.
I’m also on precautionary antibiotics but all my infection markers are low.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Lots of what I’m reading is that people’s bleeding tapers off after a few days and I’m just worried that mine has got heavier.
