Started taking progesterone now bleeding

Hi I’m 6 weeks pregnant and had a scan 6 days ago showing all healthy. I asked for progesterone due to 2 precious miscarriages this year, and the nurse said they wouldn’t prescribe without bleeding but that many women continue to take the progesterone from previous pregnancies. I started taking 3 days ago and woke up this morning with a lot of spotting, browny red. Has anyone had this and it be ok? I’m terrified that it is another miscarriage

I spotted everyday for 4.5 weeks during my 1st trimester. DS is a happy and healthy 6 month old now. I know it’s scary as we had a miscarriage previously too and the 1st 2 days were quite heavy bleeding so I was convinced we were having another one. I was told to do no exercise till bleeding stopped and take it as easy as possible.

That’s really reassuring thank you. I have just booked a scan for 6:30 tonight as I just can’t take my mind off of it x

I had spotting/ a bit more up until around 8 weeks with two of mine and they were fine.

I have also had several early miscarriages and realised v quickly that the pregnancies were over due to the large amount of blood.
