Getting copies of scans from before MC?

Hi Everyone, my MC started on wednesday at 7 weeks. I’d been to the hospital on Tuesday pm with slight bleeding, I was scanned and baby was measuring small and lower down that expected but still had a heartbeat at this point. We then lost our baby in the early hours of Wednesday. I wasn’t offered a copy of the scan and was in too much shock to ask.
i just wondered if anyone has been able to request a copy of a scan days later under these circumstances, as not sure the hospital would even of kept it?

I’m really sorry for your loss. I hope you and your partner are ok. Can you ask your GP or ring the hospital department and ask for a copy? I would imagine it has been kept on file.

Thanks for the replies, things feel really hard at the moment. This gives me hope that they may still have it on file though. Will definitely contact the hospital and see if I can get a copy X
