Miscarriage/Ectopic Pregnancy

Im just looking some advice i found out last Tuesday I was pregnant, started bleeding Saturday.
Hospital Sunday and they done my hcg levels they were very low at 50hcg, I would have been 5 weeks since lmp.

They told me to expect miscarriage but my hcg keeps slowing rising now they don’t really know which it is
Sunday - 50
Tuesday - 73
Today - 106

They want me back on Saturday for more bloods, I’m just fed up now and want it all to be over. I’m so scared it could be ectopic they don’t want to give the injection and just want to keep checking hcg and bloods.

Has anyone ever had this and miscarried naturally?
I’m still bleeding and just very stressed with this whole thing it’s starting to affect my mental health 😣 I have a son who’s 18 months and we have no family here as they all live so far away, I’m just so afraid of something happening while I’m with him alone.

Hi, I am sorry you are going through this and without any support around you. I had something similar last year. The hcg was rising slowly and like you I was worried about it being an ectopic. But then between week 5 and 6 hcg began to decline and I finally started to bleed at exactly week 6. Somehow it was not viable and the slow rising hcg reflected that. Hope everything works out well for you.

@Serendipity24 thank you for letting me know your experience, it’s so strange how it increases with miscarriage too isn’t it? did you bleed before when the hcg was slowly rising? I’ve been bleeding for almost a week now and it still seems to be rising 😣 I think on Saturday if it’s still increasing I might ask for the injection as I just feel it’s mentally draining me now. I want to feel ok again and have this all over me. I pray I miscarry and it isn’t ectopic.

Hi @HChloeX , I didn't bleed before 6 weeks. It's quite common to be bleeding during early pregnancy but the slow rising HCG is a concern. I hope you get answers soon. Best wishes
