TTC after loss - cycle changes

We sadly had a MMC which started on 24th April when I was almost 12 weeks. I tried the medical management which didn’t work, so had the D&C on 6th May.

My hormones were all over the place which I am sure is normal, but we decided we would like to start TTC after the bleeding stopped. To my surprise, my first AF arrived 1st June which I felt was quite soon after the surgery and it really knocked me.

I used LH strips before when TTC but the month we conceived I only tracked BBT as I found this a lot less stressful. I thought it was best to start this again and found this cycle I didn’t ovulate until day 22 which is really late for me! And I feel like AF will be on the way soon 😔

I’ve also had pain in both ovaries since the start of this cycle which feels like ovulation pain but clearly it is just general pain.

I just wondered what other people’s experiences were as I’m feeling like my body is still all over the place. We desperately want to conceive again but at the moment it’s so tough to know what to expect!

So sorry for your loss! My story is similar to yours. Had a MMC at 12 weeks in April. It started happening naturally, then I was bleeding to heavy and had a MVA. That didn’t work so had tablets. Lo and behold that didn’t work so had a D&C end of April. My periods have been very heavy and coming early. I think it’s still early days and being 12 weeks I can imagine it’s taking that bit longer. So sorry to hear you’ve been through similar ❤️ and sorry for your loss too. It’s horrible when it’s drawn out and then you’re still affected by the after effects months later.
It is reassuring though so thank you for messaging, hopefully it’s fairly normal and we’re not the only ones that’s noticed their cycles are all over the place!
