Twin pregnancy early loss?!

Hi all I’m just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything like this before, so I found out I was pregnant on the 17th April based on LMP etc I should be about 11 weeks, I went for an early private scan when I should of been 6 weeks there was 2 twin sacs measuring 3-4 weeks so straight away I’m thinking missed miscarriage. I go back 3 weeks later both sacs have grown and there’s a yolk sac in 1 but still no babies so I now book in to the hospital early pregnancy and they scan me a week after the second private one and both sacs have grown but again 1 empty the other has a yolk sac, they said as the yolk sac one looks regular that they will re-scan, by this point I am so fed up and just want everything to be over with, there’s no babies etc it’s obvious it’s a miscarriage. So I go back and have another scan yesterday and this time both sacs have gotten slightly smaller but there’s a fetal pole in one WITH a heartbeat measuring 6 weeks. They have said they feel like this won’t end well, but now a tiny part of me is holding on to that little one. Has anyone been through this??

Hi, I’m currently going through something similar.

Based on LMP I should be 8 weeks’ pregnant. Had a private scan last week that showed 2 gestational sacs and 2 yolk sacs but no fetal poles. The sonographer thought the growth was probably just a bit delayed due to there being two, but recommended I contact the early pregnancy unit to have another scan a week later, which I had today.

Both sacs have grown and there is a fetal pole in one without a heartbeat. It’s measuring around 6 weeks, so currently 2 weeks’ behind. The other sac is an irregular shape and no fetal pole.

I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan but I’m not expecting good news. We’ve just got our heads around having twins and now I don’t think we’ll be having even one baby.

I don’t know what will happen next and I can’t offer any advice, but you’re not alone.

Hi ladies

I had similar situation earlier this year. It was growing from 5 1/2 until 7, with fetal pole but no heartbeat. I had a surgical management of missed miscarriage at 8 weeks unfortunately. Had three private scans. No bleeding or pain, strong pregnancy tests without any symptoms. Tested negative three weeks after the surgery.
