I am wondering if I’ve had a chemical pregnancy. I didn’t test before my period so I can’t know for sure.
My period arrived on what would have been CD31 (so that cycle lasted 30 days). My cycles usually last 28 days but I have had 30 day cycles before. Ovulation was not confirmed.
This period started quite abruptly (it’s usually more gradual) and I had clots from day 1 (I typically get them during the 2nd half of my period - not at the start).
Also, whilst my period was bright red, I found it was lighter than more normal period but with the same amount, if not a few more clots.
I also seemed to have progesterone/PMS symptoms whilst on my period, nausea, breast tenderness etc which usually stops when my period starts.
Finally, my period seems to have been short than normal too. It usually last 4/5 days and it abruptly stopped yesterday (CD3) and I’ve just had pinky/brown discharge today.
Thank you if you’ve made it this far 😅 as I said at the start, it’s impossible to know for certain if was a chemical as I didn’t test before my period but I wonder if anyone has experienced similar.
ETA - if it was a chemical, I don’t know if I would still have HCG in my system that would be picked up by a test
