Hi there I’ve had a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks (with foetus measuring at 6 weeks) I’m booked for another scan from NMGH nhs … they don’t take private scans into consideration. I’ve never experienced a natural miscarriage.. the last two days I’ve had stringy pink discharge/ brown discharge. Some spotting. No pain or clots, is this the start of the miscarriage passing naturally ? I’m unsure what to expect

Hello, sorry you’re going through this ❤️

I started light spotting on a Tuesday and clots and heavy blood didn’t start until the Sunday.

No pain, no clots until 6 days after the first tiny spots of blood.

I hope this helps you.

Sorry, just to add. My first miscarriage started with brown discharge for around 3 weeks until the clots started. Both were very different. But this one seems similar to yours currently xx

Mine was light red bleeding when I wiped which gradually got heavier. Heavy bleeding and clots the following day which lasted around 5-6 days. Sorry you’re going through this.

So far it’s just brown stringy mucus which looked before like it could be tissue. And then drops of red … no pain yet hoping I’m not in too much pain in the coming days xxx
