I am feeling so low. I had a MMC end of Feb and I have been still spotting/brown discharge and upset stomach since. I rang EPU that refused to see me and I spoke to the doctors twice who said give it some time.

I called the gynaecology assessment unit up who saw me before and they asked me to come in today and the scan confirmed 1.5cm of retained products or a blood clot still they said. I was told it's too small for surgery and medical management but antibiotics should help it leave so I'm on antibiotics and if not better to call them back for another scan.

I just feel so deflated and I just want this to end. Sorry I don't know why I'm posting but just need to speak to someone. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi, I am so sorry for your loss. I had a MMC begining of January at around 9 weeks. I had surgical management and they were able to get everything out, so not comparable to your situation.

Are you still testing positive? Did you have a full period yet? It took a long time to get a proper period for me, more than two months. But it was really heavy when it came.

Hopefully everything comes out soon, and you can move forward, though easier said than done. Some days I still struggle to come to terms with my loss. Take care ❤️

The pregnancy tests are negative and blood work is also negative. From what I know I've had a period but the spotting/brown discharge makes it difficult. I ovulated last month but haven't this month.

Hopefully it will be over soon ❤️
