How many weeks was I?

This isn't hugely important but just one of the things my mind has chosen to get hung up on.

I had a miscarriage last month. I started bleeding at 8+4 and the scan showed the embryo had stopped growing at 5+3. Was I 5 weeks or 8 weeks?

I say I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks but it stopped growing at 7 weeks, there isn’t really a clear answer I suppose, depends what aspect you’re talking about.
