Cytogenetic testing

Just looking for experiences of others. I had my third missed miscarriage almost 3 weeks ago, and so it was sent off for cytogenetic testing.
I was told it would take up to 12 weeks to get results. Anyone who has had this done, did it take the full 12 weeks? And did you get anything show up on the results?
I am kind of expecting them to find an issue, as my second loss was a partial molar so was a chromosome problem

I’m sorry you’ve had a rough time. I sent off some tissue for testing after my second MMC. This was some years ago so I don’t recall how long it took but I do remember that they found trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) which isn’t incompatible with a live birth but has a poor prognosis. I was in my late 30s at the time so my doctor advised that my age was the biggest factor in the issues I was having. Best wishes, I hope it all works out for you.

@Okayornot thanks for sharing. I guess time will tell & I just need to be patient during this wait. 12 weeks just feels so long while worrying about what they will find
