Two miscarriages - referral for tests?

Hi. I am currently going through my second miscarriage in 4 months. I had a missed miscarriage/blighted ovum in Dec 2024 and had D&C on New Year’s Day. I found out 2 days ago I’ve had another miscarriage and due to have surgery again on Tuesday.
the nurse said she would ask the GP to refer me to Tommys miscarriage clinics. But having checked the website it appears that you have to have had 3 miscarriages? Has anyone been accepted onto this after two miscarriages or have any experience in getting support or tests to find out what is happening!!
j have a 2.5 year old so know I’m capable of carrying to term, but I don’t know why I’ve had two early losses now

Sorry for your losses. I believe Professor Quenby at Coventry Tommys accepts women after 2 losses and she is amazing

I was accepted after 2 MC to Tommys. Was a 6 month wait for an appointment, but it went quite quickly

No we didn’t, but I didn’t fall pregnant in that time anyway.
