Low progesterone and second pregnancy

Hi,

just reaching out to get some advice or speak to anyone who might be experiencing the same thing. We had our daughter in 2022 first pregnancy, no problems, no complications luckily but since we’ve been trying to have our second and unfortunately we’ve had three miscarriages the last one being November of last year. We’re looking at trying again soon but a friend has mentioned that maybe I should get my progesterone checked as it could be an effect from that but I ovulate every month. I’ve never missed a period I’ve been checked for PCOS and endometriosis and everything like that in the past and I don’t suffer from anything and we’re just wondering if low progesterone is common after having a successful pregnancy to start with and if so, where can I get progesterone? I’m a bit reluctant to go to my GP because my BMI is on the higher 30s and when I went to the early pregnancy unit with the last miscarriage nothing was ever said or offered. Just wondering if anyone’s ever experience anything similar or is it just I’ve been having really bad luck in pregnancy at the moment because part of me wants to start trying again and the other part of me is scared for a fourth miscarriage.
