Pregnancy after loss

Hello ladies, I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks on the 5th of April. It was actually the day of our 12 week scan. We were told at the scan that our babies heart had stopped beating around 9+3, and our baby was born at home naturally that evening (it was like my body held on until we had the chance to try and prepare for our loss) I had a follow up scan yesterday to make sure my miscarriage was complete and the sonographer said that everything looked great and we could try again as soon as I ovulate if we want to, which we do. Has anyone else had a missed misscarrage and gone on to become pregnant again straight away before a period and if so was your pregnancy healthy?

We will be given our baby’s ashes to scatter soon and we decided to name them Sky🩵x

I’m very sorry to hear about your loss.

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and then fell pregnant afterwards before having a period. Unfortunately that baby had trisomy 21 and we decided to TFMR. However, that was just bad luck - there’s no medical reason why your baby would not be healthy if you fell pregnant straight away.

So sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last year, and went on to fall pregnant (very next cycle) with natural identical twins. Alice & Maisie who were born October 2024 ❤️ My doctor told me that it’s quite common for first pregnancy to be a loss unfortunately.

Wishing you all the best ❤️
