After a 10 week pregnancy loss how long did it take to test negative. Im 5 weeks post and still testing positive and quite strongly but faint positive. Ive been testing routinely and got a very faint positive yesterday afternoon but stronger this morning. Any thoughts?

I would speak to a doctor. You may have some pregnancy tissue left. After 2 miscarriages my line disappeared after 2 weeks but of course everyone is different.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I had an MMC at ten weeks and had surgical management. I was advised by the hospital to contact them if I wasn't testing negative within two weeks. I'm in Ireland. As a pp said I'd say it's remaining tissue.

I had 2 mmc one at 14w,one at 8w. Both times it took 8 weeks for tests to turn negative. I had surgical management both times. Sorry for your loss 😔

Not 10 weeks but i had medical management at 11 weeks for a 9.2 pregnancy i was still testing positive until my period started 4 weeks later, it was only after 2 days of a heavy period that i finally tested negative.

I was told to phone up at 3 weeks if i was still testing positive but as my tests were getting progressively lighter i decided to wait to see if my period arrived before going for scans etc i was also told when i was discharged that everything was very 'neat' so they'd be surprised if i had any retained tissue.
