Hi all,
Just looking for people's experiences both good and bad.
Around 3 week ago I got a very faint positive pregnancy test. According to the dates of my last period I would of been around 4 week and 3 days pregnant. Due to a previous loss and some slight spotting I booked a private early scan. I attended this last Saturday when I should of been 6 weeks and just did an abdominal scan, they dated me as around 5 week (didn't tell me exactly how many days and weeks) all that was visible was a yolk and sac. They re booked me in for in a weeks time to see if there has been any development. I attended this second scan yesterday and on an abdominal scan she said the measurements looked to be similar as the previous weeks and could she do an internal scan. On the internal scan she took measurements and it showed as 5 week 4 days pregnant. Now I'm unsure how many days progression this is as the previous woman didn't tell me exact dates. On the scan she detected a fetal heartbeat but also said she could see some blood around the outside of the sac. I have been re booked in again next week to determine if there's been any development. I have had on off spotting for just over a week now and today the spotting has turned dark brown.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and what was the outcome?
I suffered a missed miscarriage in 2020 so am currently fearing the worse
Thanks

Have you tried contacting your local EPU for guidance? They may get you in for a scan with them given your history? Hopefully all is ok 🤞

Have you had any pains? I’m currently around 4 weeks. Started spotting last night and cramping today - bleeding is getting heavier. Had 2 miscarriages in the past 10 months… fearing the worst. Hope you are doing okay!
