Trying again after a missed miscarriage

Hi everyone,
I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6 weeks and then no heartbeat at 9.5 week scan from LMP).

Before conceiving I did think I had signs of low progesterone as I would have brown spotting before my period.

I have seen people who have recurrent miscarriages start taking progesterone but is this only after a miscarriage with bleeding rather than a missed miscarriage? I know I have to get tested to know the full answer but does the fact that I had a missed miscarriage show that my progesterone levels are normal?

Any advice on convincing after a missed miscarriage?

Thank you!

I had 5 MC and the 3 live DC were the only pregnancies where I took Progesterone and had successful pregnancies so it was no coincidence for me. The first time it was prescribed was in the EPU and then carried on prescribing by my consultant to 36 weeks.
For my last 2 pregnancies I just asked my midwife to get a repeat prescription started at my booking in appointment which carried on throughout my pregnancy pretty much.
i never got tested, they just prescribed which I believe is the most common thing as long as you meet the criteria. I carried on bleeding into second trimesters for all pregnancies which was another reason as well as the MC.

I had the same and was never sure! About a year before I started ttc I had brown spotting a day or 2 before my period started. However after the mmc I never had brown spotting again, just red blood from 15dpo like a normal period. I got pregnant 3 months later with a healthy baby and never had any issues so I think the mmc was a chromosomal issue
