Just my story. I went for an early scan at 9w and found just a sac measuring 6w. While waiting for a 14 day follow up scan I started spotting and then when I was essentially 11weeks I had heavy bleeding, strong contractions, got it confirmed at EPU, passed the pregnancy sac and tissue and the HcG started fading. Because I was pregnant for so long we've decided to have a break as I essentially experienced a whole trimester which was intense and tiring. I have PCOS but we conceived straight away after stopping BC, it was so exciting to be pregnant, we found out at 8dpo and felt like we waited forever to get scanned only to have heartbreak, so Im dreading the next waiting time between now and the next pregnancy. I left my job in December anyway not knowing I'd get pregnant quickly and still need to find a new job so I feel quite lost at the moment with lots of stress, change and big life challenges behind and ahead of us. I would love future me to come and tell me it's all going to be ok! Sharing in case anyone else is feeling disappointed and lost. Xx

So sorry for your loss. 💐

Had a similar MMC experience.

Good luck for when you do feel ready to try again.

I now have 2 beautiful girls.

So sorry for your loss OP. I had a MMC myself, I was around 8 weeks but baby never developed beyond 6. It was my first pregnancy too. It’s such an awful experience, mine was a little different to yourself as I did have surgery as it didn't resolve itself, although saying that I didn’t give it any time to once we had the news.

I am sorry you’ve gone through this. But, best of luck when you begin TTC again. Here if you ever want to vent or discuss!

So sorry you've had a similar thing. I just had my follow up scan and they can see a small amount retained which may be blood clots but they think it will probably come out in my next period but I shouldn't start TTC until after. That's the decision made for us. It's sad that we have been trying since November and not really experienced a viable cycle yet with the only cycle we've had being this MC and probably won't be trying again until April. What a bumpy road it's been.
