Slow rising beta

Hi ladies, looking for some experience or positive stories 🥺❤️‍🩹

I had an MMC at 8weeks last August and am pregnant again, I think I’m going to have another miscarriage or ectopic based on these betas;

10/02 16DPO beta 290 progesterone 76

12/02 18DPO beta 390

16/02 22DPO beta 920 progesterone 41

Please share your thoughts, I’m going crazy.

Hi OP. I've no experience of betas but didn't want to read and run. I've also recently had an MMC in January. It's so crap. What do betas measure?

@SureLook thank you ❤️‍🩹 so sorry to hear you had a miscarriage too, they’re truly heartbreaking. They’re HCG betas (pregnancy hormone) it should double every 48 hours, which mine aren’t 🥺 so stressful x

Is this an at home test you're doing? How many weeks are you now? I'm still waiting on my period and we're going to start trying again. I can only imagine the anxiety!

@SureLook its a blood test done at the early pregnancy unit - my tests stopped getting darker and because of my previous miscarriage I was so anxious. So I had the blood tests done. I’m 5 weeks tomorrow, so super early. Hope you’re period comes soon, I remember desperately waiting for mine before x

Do you think it might possibly be a chemical pregnancy? Sorry to even say that. What have the EPU said?

@SureLook my period took 6 months to return after my first D&C! 🥺🥺 was awful.

No not a chemical as my HCG is too high xx

@SureLook they have just said they will continue to check my hcg levels and scan as soon as they are able.x

Oh god, six months is a long time! Was there a reason for it taking that long?

It's good that the unit are continuing to check you. We just have to be positive now!

@SureLook complications from the D&C, I had some light scarring and a ‘blockage’, so needed a hysteroscopy to clear things. Let’s see what tomorrow brings 🥹 thanks so much for your support xx

my numbers have more than doubled now - but I am not sure if it’s viable still. Need to wait til next week, will be the longest wait ever!!

Ah, that's brilliant. Surely that's a good sign! I know, the wait is a killer!
