How long until tests become negative?

I know it can take weeks for the tests to be fully negative but I've just tested ahead of my appointment at the EPU tomorrow for more bloods and it is still glaringly positive. I at least would have expected it to be lighter by now?

I was really hoping it would be negative so I didn't have to go back tomorrow but it's not looking likely it's going to be by the morning.

Added a picture of my test. Is this normal at this stage? Scan showed they couldn't determine where the pregnancy was. Uterus was empty but they said it was too early to tell if ectopic.

Thank you for replying. That's reassuring. I did read it can take quite a while. I'm hoping the bloods tomorrow show the levels are decreasing and it's just taking it's time.

I think mine was around 4 weeks from when the bleeding started, it was a mmc so medically managed xx

Mine is still positive, it'll be 4 weeks tomorrow since I miscarried, naturally. Getting faint now but it's so slow!
