Suspected Miscarriage - but weeks indicator increasing

I was 5w5d when is started bleeding and cramping along with lines on test being faint and weeks indicator not changing in 2 weeks from 1-2.
I called the EPU who said sounded likely it was a miscarriage but offered no scan due to how early I was. I tested again today (a week later) and my lines are darker and the weeks indicator has increased. Is this normal whilst still bleeding during a suspected miscarriage? I may just be hoping it's not what they think it is.

Are you bleeding heavily? I passed huge clots with my miscarriage and I was flooding pads in minutes. If it's just a light bleed it could well be implantation an irritated cervix? X

I have passed small clots intermittently Nd the bleeding is like a heavy period sometimes but not bled through pads like you mentioned. It slowed down last night.and was only when I wiped and then heavier again today but not seen clots for a few days x

Can you afford a private scan to check what's going on? Sending love x

Maybe that's what I need to do. I've read posts about a subchorionic hematoma but I could.just be finding any reason for it not to be a miscarriage x

I bleed almost the way till around 16 weeks. It was bloody terrifying. It was a subchorionic hematoma. I was put on bed rest which is actually not generally recommended. Anyhow, my DC is 6 now. You don't know until you've scanned.

Did you take a pregnancy test? I would definitely book in to see the GP if it was negative. I know small clots in a period are normal but this is far from small. Hope you are ok

I took a few tests and they were faint positive. I went to the hospital and my HCG levels were negative for pregnancy so I’m not sure. :( thankyou though.

This is what my miscarriage looked like. The pieces you show are usually the uterus lining etc. I'm very sorry x

i think I’m still in denial about it really. How many weeks were you if you don’t mind me asking. I’m sorry you had to go through that, it’s not easy
