Please help, is this a miscarriage?

So, I think I am miscarrying but the dates I have taken tests with positive and negative are really making me question what’s going on.

I had very light spotting on the 14th/15th December, this was when my period was due.

I then had a negative pregnancy test on the 29th December.

On the 8th Jan I spotted for about 4 days and on the 12th of Jan (date my period was due) I had a medium flow which was what I believed to be my period.

on the 14th I lost a small blood clot, and carried on having light bleeding (believed this to be my period)

On the 20th Jan, whilst still bleeding (currently been having light bleeding/spotting since 8th Jan) I decided to take a pregnancy test, despite being on what I thought was my period. My boobs were just so sore I felt like something was up. It came back positive.

I have a blood test booked in with my GP tomorrow, I took a digital how many weeks test today to see how far along I could be it says 1-2 weeks, this would fall into being convinced when I was bleeding.

am I miscarrying? Is the test saying 1-2 weeks because my HCG levels are dropping?

I have children already and never experienced anything like this before.

I have attached 2 photos the one with 2 pink tests were taken on the 20th the other with the digital taken today 22nd.

Have you had your GP appointment yet? How are you feeling today? I dont really know all I can say from experience is that I had lower cramps and back ache along with passing a small blood clot and a palm sized blood clot and just knowing something wasn't right. This was my 4th baby and happened in December 2024. So quite recently. Never experienced anything like it. It got intense pretty quickly too. I was about 10/11 ish weeks if I was right with my last period. Sending my love ❤️

I had my appointment today, I had a blood test. I did not get any answers today from the doctors. However, the bleeding got worse and I have had 2 blood clots I have been in a lot more pain. Over 2 weeks of bleeding now and I just know deep down that this baby is a loss. I have 3 children, which came with wonderful healthy pregnancy’s, this would have also been my fourth. It really is such an awful feeling. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. ❤️

The thing i hate the most is that there's not a lot of information out there on miscarriages. No one have any answers etc. It's just a minefield and your left alone to deal with it all. It's a traumatic experience!

I am so sorry to hear that's It's progressed and that you are bleeding and passing clots. It sounds very similar to how mine started. I was the same after 3 healthy pregnancies I really didn't expect it and it hit me so hard. I always didn't know just how awful miscarriages were. The Internet and health professionals say 'heavy period' but mine was way worse than that. Labour pains, passing clots, passing pregnancy tissue, bleeding so much its scary and the cramps and back ache etc. It's exhausting. I think i stopped bleeding 3.5 weeks later it was on Boxing Day. I am so sorry to hear of this news sending loads of love ❤️
