Is this normal? (Post surgery miscarriage)

Hi, new on here and have no kids, but hoping for some answers.

Had medical management miscarriage prior Xmas. Recurrent heavy bleeding and pain, meant I had retained products. Had surgical management last week.

Didn't have much pain or bleeding afterwards.

Now it's day 6, I started heavy bleeding yesterday and I've got bad cramps.
Codeine isn't really cutting it.

I rang EPAU and no answer back, voicemail says they will ring me within 24 hours.

Should i be worried? I'm concerned there is still further retained products they missed?

Pain is awful but I'm on the sofa with a hot water bottle. Bleeding is better than before the surgical management, but still seems heavier the past few days

I've spent so many hours in A&E the past few weeks with all of this, so very reluctant to go again...

I had a MVA 8 days ago and only had very light minimal bleeding until last night, when I started bleeding a little heavier and passed 3 small clots. I did call EPU and they advised that this can happen and you can have irregular bleeding for 2 weeks. It’s slowed this morning but still there. I would contact the department who did the d&c and they will be able to answer your questions and advise if they want to see you / if it’s normal
