Positive test 2 weeks after

Hi all,

I had surgical management of a MMC at 7 weeks on 24/12/24, and I’ve done a test this morning and the line came up pretty much straight away.. I think I was supposed to wait 3 weeks however it’s been over 2 and is this normal for this stage?
This was my first pregnancy and im not sure what’s normal and what’s not. The photo was taken 2 minutes after taking the test.

Leave it until 3 weeks - it can take time for the HCG to leave your body. It has always taken me 3 weeks to get a negative test (4 losses all with surgical management) x
