Miscarriage vs ectopic

Hi, I’m sure this has been posted a lot but I’m very confused. Bit of background I have two children already, I had a MMC in between them for which I had a D&C. Last year I had ovarian torsion (open surgery) and had a 10cm cyst removed and my left ovary removed.

I found out pregnant unexpected on the 23/12. So I should be 6+3 today. On the 31/12 I started losing pinkish discharge, it’s been on and off since. Some times it’s watery and browny orange some times it’s red still watery, no clots. It is getting heavier but still only when I wipe.

I had a scan two days ago they couldn’t see anything apart from what the sonographer described as a 4mm cyst in my womb. Which could be something or might not. It measured 4+5.

My HCG was 122 on Friday and I’ve just been back for the repeat one.

I have intermittent stabbing pain in my right pelvic area and the same in my back. No pain when I open my bowels or wee etc.

I totally appreciate there is no good outcome here, but I’m just looking for experiences of ectopics miscarriages etc. I’m aware of red flag symptoms it’s more that I’ve never experienced symptoms of a miscarriage so I’m doing my own head in trying to work out what’s going on.

if you made it this far - thanks for reading.

If you're worried about an ectopic pregnancy please go to a&e and get rescanned. They're incredibly dangerous if they rupture. My main symptoms were agonising pain on the side that the pregnancy was growing. It was intermittent rather than continuous. Bleeding was more like a light period.

Thank you @DarkForcesfor replying ☺️ EPU phoned yesterday and my HCG has decreased to 75 so I have to go back again tomorrow to be tested again. But they feel it’s more than likely a miscarriage now as the bleeding has increased. Pain is now just generalised period cramps so hopefully not an ectopic.

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a bad time but glad you're being looked after and it's not looking like an ectopic. I had several losses before dd and know how hard it is. I couldn't face going through the heart ache for a second. You have my sympathy.

@DarkForces I’m so sorry about your losses 😢 this pregnancy came upon us unexpectedly but was very much wanted. But I don’t think I can go through all the anxiety and worry again. Grateful and lucky to have two lovely girls though ☺️
