Hi, does anyone have any knowledge on getting a referral to Dr Shehata on the NHS? Does he still follow the same protocol as he would private or at least offer NK cell testing which other nhs clinics don’t offer? How would my GP go about referring me?

You have to have 2 or more miscarriages. I’m being seen under him. Awaiting for results from my bloods

@SWMum9 thanks for this, I’ve been referred to him but advised the wait is up to 6 months. Unfortunately I’ve had 3 miscarriages and a TFMR. What bloods have you had if you don’t mind me asking?

Sorry to hear that 😢 I was told the wait was 9 months but I was seen in about 6 weeks as there was a cancellation and a clinic opened up on a Sunday. I had blood taken for NK cells and also had to go for bloods whilst on my period to check progesterone, thyroid, FSH count and a few other things that I can’t remember
