TW: Chemical pregnancy

Hi all,

Me and my partner started our ttc baby #2 journey in December and we fell first time, we were both so shocked and over the moon but it unfortunately ended in an early miscarriage at 4 weeks & 2 days. I'm on day 2 of the bleed and was just wondering if this is like a period? Will I ovulate this cycle? And anyone who experienced a chemical pregnancy when did you manage to conceive after?

It's been a really devastating time. We told people after I got a positive digital because it felt safe but it wasn't 💔 having to tell people that it wasn't happening anymore has been tough. But me and my partner are ready to start again this cycle, I was taking Omega 3, Vit D and Folic acid. I've now bought some red maca root for me and also some wellman conception tablets for my partner. I'm really hoping next month is our month as I've heard that fertility is high after a CP.

Does anyone have any success stories about conceiving after a CP?

Hi, I'm really sorry about your chemical pregnancy and know how hard it can be. My husband and I started trying to baby #2 in Feb this year. I fell pregnant that month but it turned out to be a chemical. My period arrived and was a little heavier than usual. I did ovulate the next month (as I was tracking) but didn't fall pregnant straight away. We tried again every month until I conceived on my May cycle so a couple of months later. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant. I don't think i did anything particularly different that month except I had started taking probiotics as my digestive system was a bit all over the place (as I have IBS) but I had been taking folic acid and pregnancy multivitamins etc since the autumn before.
