Uterine Pains

Is it normal to have uterine pains 3 days after miscarriage? They come and go but can be intense. Paracetemol doesn't help. Thank you.

I was told yes. I had this, also. The nurse I spoke to on a check-in call around 5 days in said it was normal, and is usually a sign that your body is trying to get rid of remaining stuff. I then passed a few more clots which helped ease the pains. But do keep an eye and call EPU/relevant care department if you're worried

Thank you for getting back to me. This is what I believe to be my first miscarriage so I'm in the dark and I get really anxious. I have a scan tomorrow so I will find out if there's anything remaining then. Not looking forward to the scan at all
