Really high HCG at 4.5 weeks

I recently got my hcg bloods and they came back at a crazy 60 000 at week 4, almost week 5. They did a scan a few days before and saw the sac but nothing in it yet. I've also had some pink discharge on and off.

My mind is going straight to molar pregnancy and I was wondering if anyone had some positive stories with similar numbers or should I just accept it isn't great. I am going for another scan in a few days.

Try not to google, you will just jump to the worst case scenario. I had very high HCG with both my pregnancies - flagged up to come in to see the consultant. With my second pregnancy I also had some bleeding in the first trimester and a scan at 5 weeks showed an empty sac. Scan at 7 weeks showed everything progressing well and both babies were born healthy at term. Some people just make a lot of HCG. You're unlikely to get a more definitive scan before about 6/7 weeks.
