TW possible miscarriage happening?

Hello, I don't usually comment on here I normally just read. I found out im expecting my 4th baby I'm roughly about 9/10 weeks. Haven't had a scan yet. I have been spotting for 3 days, period like cramps in stomach and back, headache and been bleeding and passing clots yesterday and today. But today I passed a smaller clot and then this evening quite a big one. It alarmed me. I think I know what it is but I was just curious on your thoughts. I have photos that I can upload if that's any good? Thank you.

Have you been seen by the EPU yet? You should try get booked in for an early pregnancy scan. What you're experiencing doesn't sound good unfortunately.
To get a referral with the EPU you'd either need to go via your GP or A&E.

I have a scan booked for Tuesday. It got intense last night so I think it's definitely a miscarriage. No way, that it can be anything else. Thank you for replying x

Thank you. It has been hard few days. Didn't really have many answers when I went for a scan. They ain't really sure what's happening with my body as it's really low down. Looks like I am miscarrying and that there might still be some left in my body. I've had bloods taken to check my hormone levels. Got to go back in 48 hours for more bloods.

Trying to work out how long to have off work because I'm a personal shopper and it's close to Christmas so will get heavy.

Oh I'm so sorry. The unknown must be agonising, especially when in your gut you know something isn't right.
If they confirm a missed miscarriage, they may offer you a medical procedure to remove what's still remaining in you. If you're still bleeding a lot, it's possible the blood supply is still going there and medical intervention may be needed. I had that experience and it was very traumatic. (The procedure wasn't traumatic though, just the complications I had with my missed miscarriage).
I would suggest that if you're able to take time off work to rest if you need it, then definitely do that. If you're losing your baby, you shouldn't have to be working until you're fit to go back. You've probably not even fully processed or been able to accept what's happening especially if it's all still up on the air. Give yourself some time...
