Heavy bleeding 6 weeks pregnant

Hello all

I am 6+1 weeks pregnant. On Monday when I was 5+4 I started spotting. I do have an ectropion which I was on a waiting list to have treatment for so I assumed it was just that and not overly worried.

Then yesterday I started bleeding really heavily, like an exceptionally heavy period, with lots of clots, and it’s been going on all day yesterday and today.

My EPU is referral only, and they won’t see me until next Friday when I’ll be 7+1, I’ve just been told to wait it out, but go to A&E if I am soaking through pads, which I am not.

I’ve got no pain. I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms whatsoever this pregnancy.

Ive prepared myself for the worst, but I guess I was just looking to see if others think this does sound like a miscarriage? It’s absolutely agonising waiting a week to know for sure!

I’m so sorry but this sounds like a miscarriage. Can you get a private scan a bit quicker?

Thank you for your reply. Yes I think the same. Guess I just want to hear that everything will be ok, even though deep down I know it won’t! I can’t seem to find anything private sooner, they don’t seem to want to scan you before 7 weeks?

I’m also in the same position, I started spotting last week, and then this week started brown red bleeding and passing small clots today. I’m not being seen until next Thursday at EPU. I went through the same back in July too :(

Hey I’m so sorry you are going through this too, it’s so sad isn’t it. How many weeks are you if you don’t mind me asking?
