TTC after misscarriage

I miscarried in September. I'm in the headspace where I want to ttc again. I haven't had my period since misscarrying , is this normal or should I wait to get my period?

So how many weeks since the 1st day of your MC? Was it complete?

Otherwise I would say that’s on the outside of normal- usually you ovulate within 2-4 weeks … but I’m in the same boat and have been researching this. Apparently can be more like 12-16 weeks if you had an irregular period before. I had got pregnant on my first cycle, 9 mo pp (I’m nursing) so while it’s been over 8 weeks since my MC, I’m not too worried. Still it’s annoying as would like to ttc again. You could start using kits or look for the signs of ovulation like I am and try the first one that comes.
