Almost 3 months and no period after miscarriage

Hi all, I’ve posted here before but getting continually more worried and looking for similar experiences.

i had a D&C 16th August for a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks, it took 3 weeks for my tests to turn negative but they eventually did. I then had lots of EWCM (way more than normal) then 2 weeks later EXCRUCIATING period pains (took morphine!) but no bleed. This has happened 3 times now, lots of EWCM then 2 weeks later, same pain and no bleed. I’ve had internal scan which shows everything looking ‘normal’. And have now been booked in for a hysteroscopy but not til Jan.

I know the likelihood of scarring is high, but could it be anything else?? I have AWFUL acne, like 10 cysts on my chin which I’ve never had - so maybe hormone imbalance? But can’t think why I’d be having EWCM then two weeks later the ‘period pains’ if my hormones hadn’t returned to my normal cycle.

sorry for my ramblings, I’m so worried that my miscarriage has caused menopause?? Or something? I just don’t know and I’m so scared of this pain during my next ‘period’ it’s truly unbearable 😞💔

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It seems possible it could be scarring (Ashermans), so it’s good that you have a hysteroscopy booked in so they can check for this. I just wanted to suggest 2 Facebook groups which I have found useful - Asherman’s Syndrome Awareness and Support, and Ashermans’s Syndrome Support UK & Ireland.

I know this is an old post but did you get your period back? I’m currently 8 weeks today post miscarriage and still no sign of my period!!!! I’ve done pregnancy tests and they’re negative.

I was only 5 weeks, 5 days and bled on and off for 2 weeks, quite pain free and my hcg levels went to 0 after those 2 weeks.
