Hi there,
I have just been diagnosed with high NK cells from prof Shehata and I have been given the complex protocol. Is anyone there that has followed the same plan? Experiences? How did it go?
thank you xx

Rainbowchaser87 I am so pleased that you have found a potential reason for your previous losses and I hope your next pregnancy is a success under Dr Shehata.
If you dont mind me asking, what actually is involved in this protocol? I am awaiting NK cell results myself so just intrigued really.

@Objectiontime thank you 🙏🏽😊It’s a combination of steroids, intralipids infusions and progesterone.

Ahh thank you. I'm not, we opted to see Dr Thum at the Lister. His speciality is reproductive immunology and I have had a feeling my losses were immune related for a while. We are awaiting test results but I half expect to end up on some sort of immune protocol. To be honest I am actually hoping that I do have an immune issue because knowing the problem is half way to fixing it I think (and hope), what i am praying is that he doesnt say i need IVIGs because I dont think we could afford them. I got a loan out to pay for tests but that wont cover IVIG.
Do you get your progesterone on private prescription or does your GP prescribe it for you? I got given a prescription for next time I am pregnant but the private prescription makes it so expensive?

@Objectiontime I feel you…I know that all this process is so expensive….I pray that it won’t be over what you can afford 🙏🏽
I got progesterone left from my previous pregnancy so I didn’t need a new prescription. I don’t think though progesterone should be too expensive? Xx
please keep me posted if you like when you have ur results! I really hope all will work it out for u too 🙏🏽
