How long does it take?

I have had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and have been bleeding for over a week now, I know this isn't abnormal but was wondering how long it should take for the bleeding to stop completely?

Any previous experience on this would be really helpful, thank you ❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss! 💕 My loss at 9 weeks took around a week and a half! Still testing positive though!

My first mc was about 5 day, my second about a week, this third one is going in three weeks but 2 weeks of that was more like spotting as opposed to a flow. Been in full flow for 8 days but easing off now.

Thank you all for your replies, it's now been 8 days with today and yesterday mostly brown and quite light. I'm hoping this means it's coming to an end soon 🤍

I didn't fully miscarry, I retained tissue and had to have surgery. I don't mean to scare you but alert you to the possibility your body may not complete on its own.

I had one at 6 weeks a couple of months ago. I think it took about a week and a half. Sending love ❤️

@Nousernamesavaliable I'm worried if this is what is happening to me, how long did you leave it until you knew something was wrong and do you mind sharing any warning signs? Were you bleeding for more than 2-3 weeks?
