Blighted ovum

Just some advice, had pain early pregnancy, conception was around 29th September. Went for scan. Had empty sac , and falling hcg levels from 2500 to 1400 over 4 days. Dr said sac very small 10mm. Should pass naturally.
Yesterday had cramps and small amount of bleeding but very dark but not enough to fill a pad and that was it. No clots nothing else. I'm not sure if it is over or I should see tissue being passed not just blood. Dr said to come for repeat hcg levels next week. I'm flying out in 2 weeks so don't want anything further to happen on plane.
Any advice from mums who might have been I similar situation please.

I’m in a similar situation right now. I was 6 weeks and started to bleed. Bleeding lasted 4 days and has now stopped. GP told me it could last a couple of weeks. I’m currently just going to wait and see what happens over the next few days. I think if anything was retained I would show infection symptoms and other than being very sad, I don’t feel ill.

Ah okay thanks. Hope all goes well for you. Yes even me I was sad as well but hoping just one of those bumps in road and try again. I know many mums who went on to have a healthy pregnancy after this. My bleeding was just for hour and thay was it and very small amount. I am waiting to see if anything further happens in next 2 weeks. I feel I can't have passed everything with that small amount of bleeding but than again my first time experiencing this.

Hello, sorry to jump on here, but I'm looking for some advice. I've had a very similar thing happen. I've taken misoprostol twice, one last Wednesday and the following morning Thursday. Apart from blood that hasn't filled a pad, I've not really had anything (a bit of tissue, biggest size was probably half the size of my pinky). I'm worried that there's retained tissue. I will call EPU tomorrow, but im just checking in to see what your outcomes were? Thanks.
