Im currently 4 weeks 2 days pregnant
I had a miscarriage in June at 6 weeks
Im don’t have sore boobs this time but I did last time which is scaring me. I also had more cramps last time whereas this time I’ve had a few moments of feeling a little sick but my boobs are fine and generally feel fine. We’re going on hlllday next week so we booked an early scan I’ll only be 5 weeks 4 days so I know they might only be able to see the sack and no fetal pole should I go or wait until we’re back? I don’t know if it will make me even more worried if I don’t see a fetal pole

It is hard but try not to worry too much about symptoms. I had much more sickness and sore boobs the times when it went wrong and no symptoms when I had my son. It really does vary from pregnancy to pregnancy.

The scan timing is difficult. The earliest I have had is 5 weeks 5 days and they did see a glimmer of a fetal pole but I wasn’t very convinced. If you leave it even a few more days they will get a much better view. Our EPU scans from 6.5 weeks when you start to heartbeat. I would struggle to enjoy my holiday is there was any scan uncertainty. In early pregnancy I had to take it hour by hour as I was so worked up. Everyone is different though.

wishing you very best luck with your pregnancy!
