When to try again?

I recently had a miscarriage/pregnancy loss at 7 weeks, there’s varying information on when it’s safe to try again but just wondering what people’s thoughts/ experiences are? Is waiting a month / one menstrual cycle sufficient or should it be 3 months or more? The hospital have so far been fairly vague…

I feel like I’m emotionally ready to start trying again after my next period. I feel like it’s important for me to “get back up and try again” as a way of coping with the loss.

Thanks

We lost ours at sixteen weeks and we tried again as soon as I stopped bleeding (it took three weeks) - I’m now six weeks pregnant after four months of trying.

I will say, and this isn’t me being ageist I hope, that everyone young I spoke to in the hospital told me to try as soon as I was mentally ready. The only people who told me to wait three months were over 60 years old so that told me all I needed to know x

I'm so sorry for your loss. Medically it's safe to try again immediately, if you feel emotionally ready then go for it. I have tried immediately after my 3 most recent losses x

So sorry for your loss, hope you’re doing ok.
Medically you can try again as soon as bleeding has stopped, I think the 3 month thing is outdated now. Waiting for at least one period like you’re planning to do is good though, as easier to then date a new pregnancy.
Good luck! X
