Warning for the long post ahead!
Did anyone else still test positive 7 weeks post miscarriage? I’ve just finished my period which started 6 weeks to the day post miscarriage and my eaay@home sticks are STILL showing a faint line (pictured). I’ve been testing almost daily and it’s all been pretty faint with no complete negative (although had a few days a couple of weeks ago where they were so light I was hopeful it was almost done but now must have just been urine concentration) so it’s not a new pregnancy. I went and got a blood test on Friday which showed my HCG levels to be at 13 and progesterone at 4.8 (dr said they would count this as not pregnant) and was spotting at the time but since then it turned into a full period. I needed tampons/ pads for this although it was slightly lighter than my previous periods.
I just want this to be over! I’m worried I won’t ovulate properly this cycle and my LH strips are all over the place.
For context - I miscarried fully on the 29th August where I should have been 11 weeks and 1 day but found out at 9 weeks during a scan that the embryo was tiny with an enlarged gestational sac and no cardiac activity, so it likely stopped progressing very early. Scan 2 weeks later to confirm full miscarriage and the dr at the time told me I had already ovulated and to expect my period within 2 weeks. This was my second miscarriage (first last year at 9 weeks, heart the heart beat at 8 but was measuring 1.5 weeks behind). No LC.
anyone been in this situation and come out the other end? Positive pregnancy stories after all this also welcome! I’m 35 so feel like time isn’t on my side right now. Sorry for the long text! Please ignore the madness of testing 3 times in one day - this whole process is making me lose my mind, I never thought I would want to see a negative pregnancy test so badly.
