Have I miscarried. I tested positive 1-2weeks yesterday. This evening I started bleeding and passed this large mass.

It does look like it's possible but do you have a pregnancy test to verify?

I had something similar but it looked smaller than in your picture but when I took a test it was negative so it was just a clot.

If she got a positive test yesterday and miscarried today a test would still.be positive, it takes time for the pregnancy hormone to leave the body

I'm sorry, that does look like a placenta, I would go the the GP tomorrow.

Oh I bet it’s tough for you right now! If I’m being honest I’ve never seen anything like this, I think when clear blue says 1-2 weeks your usually about 3-4 (I think) so clots wouldn’t be anywhere near this size if it was a miscarriage. I’d say see a doctor as soon as just to make sure your okay🙏🏼 it’s so hard not knowing what it is for sure I’m going through somthing similar right now

the Placenta wouldn’t be no where near this big at 3-4 weeks would it?

Grepes · 14/10/2024 20:04

The foetus would be 6mm at that gestation. This looks like a clot from uterine lining. The placenta would be so small you wouldn’t be able to see it.

I think it must be a clot, can you go and have a scan at EPU or privately to confirm?

Thank you for your responses. I'll ring my GP in the morning and see what they say, this has happened out of hours and as you can imagine my mind is racing.

How are you doing @Theworkingmum , been thinking of you x

It is possible that you were much further along than the 1-2week test should indicate, but that your hormone levels have been dropping for a while and are now in that low level, and your body has passed the pregnancy.

But if there's no way that you could be any more than 3-4weeks pregnant then that's definitely not the baby (although may well still indicate a miscarriage of course).

Take good care of yourself xx

I finally managed to get into the doctors yesterday, they told me just to let nature take its course as it sounds like a miscarriage. She didn't look at the picture or anything. Guess I just have to take a test in a few weeks to confirm it.
There's a possibility I was further along as I don't have regular periods, my last one was march but I unfortunately I will never know.
Thank you all.

So sorry. Sending love. I was 6 weeks and miscarried this week. I was devastated. Hope you’re OK.
