Testing advice

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice. I was diagnosed with a MMC- at 9+3 baby was measuring 6+1. Booked in for surgery, but the process happened naturally before surgery date. Bleeding started on 22/09, baby passed on 24/09, and the worst of the bleeding happened on the 25/09.

Bleeding stopped completely on the 30/09 and I've been testing every few days hoping to get back to negative quickly. This morning, I tested for pregnancy and ovulation- my results are attached. Is the HCG throwing off the ovulation test? We are keen to try again as soon as we're able. Thank you ✨🤗

Hi, so sorry to hear about your loss. Yes the pregnancy HCG can show as a positive LH test. This drove me nuts when I had a similar situation. That isn’t to say you aren’t ovulating, but just that the LH tests can be a bit unreliable until the HCG is out of your system. Good luck!
