In need of some advice/ help please!
Long so I do appreciate it if you read…
I’m 27 with a 2yr old LG, prior to having my LG I had two miscarriages close together. Since having her I’ve been on the contraceptive pill and recently started up a new relationship. I had what I thought was going to be my period on the 21st August, however it was two days of spotting. Took a test to rule that out and it came back negative.
Week beginning the 16th of September I started getting cramps and over the week they began to get progressively worse, I don’t get menstrual cramps at all so was a little confused by it. I was also due to come on my period the Thursday (19th) At the end of the week on the Friday I decided to take another test as I hadn’t started my period. This came back positive, a tiny bit faint but that positive was there. Over this weekend the cramping became unbearable and I debated going to the walk in but I decided against it.
Sunday evening the cramping was so bad and then I began to get a sharp pain in my shoulder along with more nausea and a thumping headache. I took another test and this came back positive however very very faint and after the 5 minutes passed from taking it you could see it but barely.
I booked a drs appointment Monday to see what was happening and my doctor had some concerns so asked me to be seen at A&E.
A&E triaged me, took a urine sample and sent me back to the waiting room. 5 hours later I was seen by a Dr to be told the urine test they did was negative but they wanted to do my bloods. Bloods came back with no HCG, Dr was a little blunt and told me I probably wasn’t even pregnant. I however know my body and I know I was or had been. When I told him this he said well it could have just been a very early miscarriage. I got sent home with no help or explanation for the cramps or other symptoms.
Fast forward to today (25th) I am still having awful cramps, sickness, headaches but I also haven’t began my period nor have I had any bleeding like my other miscarriages.
Has anyone else experienced this? An early miscarriage with no bleeding? Dr who is just dismissive?
I don’t even want to be seen by another healthcare professional because I’m upset and don’t want to end up being seen by the same Dr to just be made out to feel silly.
