Massively bloated after miscarriage

Hi all. I miscarried at 9 weeks on 3rd September. Since then I’ve bled / had clotting / discharge every day which has eased off yesterday and today. But since it’s eased off I’ve had such bad bloating to the point of being really uncomfortable. I turn to the side and I look 7 months pregnant. I don’t usually suffer with bloating menstrually or from any sort of intolerances etc. So this is unusual for me.

Wondering if anyone else has had the same and what it could be? A looming mega-period?? I’ve read the first one can be bad after miscarriage. Or my body still thinking it’s pregnant? Pregnancy tests are still showing as positive.

Thank you!! xxx

Hi, I'm so sorry for you having to go through it all. Just wondering if you're still experiencing the bloat? I miscarried middle of October but I'm still bloated now and it's uncomfortable but I still look so pregnant and also wondering if it's normal?! X

Hello
I just wanted to jump on, I am so sorry about both your losses. I wanted to ask about the bloating for you both? Has it improved? I had my third loss 4 weeks ago, however I believe it was a chemical pregnancy. I've previously had a 7 week loss and an ectopic. This time around it feels different. I am awaiting for my period to arrive, I am hoping in the next week? Anyway, since the chemical pregnancy I have been so bloated. I have tried upping my water intake, more fibrous foods, green tea....
Maybe it's in fact weight gain. But it seems more like bloat.
Did either of you find anything helpful?
Thank you 😀
