Did anyone conceive before next period?

I was wondering if after bleeding stopped, anyone tracking ovulation conceived? How did you date the pregnancy? Is it a bad idea?

I did. I basically conceived 2 weeks after my D&C. When I did a positive pregnancy test at 28 days after my D&C (which I did as I still felt so pregnant) they were highly concerned as they thought there must be some tissue left from
the previous pregnancy but when I was scanned they discovered I was 4+5 (or something like that) with a new pregnancy.
They would just date from the date of your MC normally (an effective period date)
