Thin lining after miscarriage - could it improve?

Hello

Cant seem to find anything on the internet about this so hoping somebody can help.

i had a second D&C yesterday for retained tissue and the scan before showed that I had likely just ovulated (4 weeks since last D&C) and that my lining was thin. I know a thin lining isn’t good for conceiving in the future so I am wondering if the lining this month could have been thin for miscarriage reasons (eg I still have hcg in my system, took misoprostal a few days ago, had retained tissue, also the D&C was done under hysteroscopy and showed I had some scar tissue which surgeon hopefully removed)?
If the surgery worked I won’t have another scan to find out if my lining is thicker next month.

Also can a thin lining cause miscarriage (baby stopped growing around 6 weeks) or is it mainly that it prevents implantation?

Thanks for any experiences/knowledge
