Irregular periods after MMC

I had an MMC at the end of July, Had my first period around 4 weeks after and all seemed relatively normal. Now have had another period 2 weeks after. Before the mmc my periods were very regular, is this normal?

Hi susie1984234, first of all I am really sorry you have had this experience. I had this happen to me last year and I know how awful it is. Regarding periods, it can take quite a while for them to regulate after any miscarriage and this includes MMCs. I do think what you are experiencing is normal because it seems to be different for everyone and I think your cycle is likely to come back to being regular in a month or two. You may find that your cycle is a bit shorter or longer and that any one symptoms you previously had change but generally things should come back to reasonable regularity. Obviously, if you do have any further concerns or you are finding that you are stopping and starting bleeding in and off too regularly then have a chat with your doc.
