Chemical Pregnancy

I had a chemical pregnancy last week and I'm driving myself crazy worrying whether I'll ovulate next month and even if I do whether it will happen again. I know each person is different and I just need to wait it out but I'm feeling so down and just wanting to hear from others about their experience the following month after a chemical so please share! I'm still on day 4 of my period, the bleeding is very light now. I plan on starting OPK tests once the bleeding stops.

I had a chemical. Didn't get pregnant the next month but ovulated as expected based on the end of the bleed, and then pregnant the month after with zero issues. Best of luck, it's so tough.

Sorry for your loss, I know how difficult it is. I had a chemical in July and ovulated as normal following the bleed. I got pregnant again straight away and am currently 7 weeks pregnant, still early days and very worried about something going wrong but trying to remain positive.
I hope you get your bfp soon 💕

@RaspberryNesbitt thanks so much for replying and congratulations to you! Fingers crossed the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly. Good to hear you ovulated as normal as that is what I'm most concerned about at the moment. I've read so much about it completely messing with cycles. I was quite early (4+3 weeks) so I'm hoping it won't have too much of an impact x

@Springadorable that's so reassuring to hear and glad it worked out for you! I need to just let go of the stress and worry as that won't help at all! x

Hi so dorry to hear of you're losses and fingers crossed for smooth safe onward journey's.do you ladies who have had cp mind going into a little more detail when did you discover you were pregnant hoe many days later did you bleed?

Peonies12 · 29/08/2024 07:03

Sorry for your loss, but remember chemical pregnancies are incredibly common and most are probably not even known about. It took us longer to conceive again after a later miscarriage so just keep busy.

Hey, thank you. I think I got my first positive 10dpo but when testing over the next few days they weren't getting any darker which was my first sign although I got a positive on a digital. AF was late and then on about 15/16dpo I started spotting which turned into a proper period about 17dpo.

Thank you for your reply! Yes I guess this is the downside to testing early. I was 5 days late for my AF so I would have tested anyway. Glad everything worked out for you in the end Smile

So same as PP I tested positive about day 10 but then started spotting by day 12. Full on period style blood by day 14. Bled for about a week, tested positive until about day 21. Then negative and next cycle seemed to start from the end of that miscarriage.

@GunesM I can't say for certain which day but the spotting started at 15dpo so must have been between 10dpo and 15dpo.
