Was this a period after MVA or not?

I'm 38, first pregnancy ended in MMC and MVA in July. I tracked ovulation afterwards out of interest, and I think I ovulated around 12 August.

Last Thursday I had some light pink bleeding just enough for a panty liner nothing more. This carried on until Sunday, so 4 days or so. It was always light, no clots, pink/red colour. My periods are usually very heavy, with clots and pain, PMS, the works. I'm not sure if this was my period and it would be this light after an MVA? I've read other threads that say the first period after was heavier than usual so I was expecting terrible things. Any advice or experiences would be really helpful!

I’m sorry about your miscarriage. After every pregnancy I’ve had, my periods have changed afterwards so from heavy to light or full of cramps to pain free etc. I’ve also found that despite using ovulation tester kits that say otherwise, I haven’t always ovulated in the cycle after a miscarriage and I have also become pregnant without having a period.

The only thing that is guaranteed about the cycle after a miscarriage, is that it’s all so unpredictable and varies each time it happens to someone and is never the same as others.
