Hi all, I had surgical management for my miscarriage at the end of June, I then had what I thought was my period about 23 days later. I know this sounds early but my cycle was usually short before miscarriage so I didn’t think much of it. Plus, nurse had said bleeding should cease within 3 weeks of my procedure, which it seemed to have done.
Now, 17 days on from what (I thought) was my first post-miscarriage period, I have my period again. 17 days is short even for me, so I’m left thinking maybe that earlier bleeding wasn’t a period. But if it wasn’t, should I have got it checked out? Has anyone experienced similar? I don’t know whether I need to speak to the nurse or if this is all normal after surgery management. I’m feeling a bit lost and upset, like I don’t know my body anymore. We had been TTC last week but clearly that was pointless as my dates are all over the place.
